Biography
Hello!
My name is Cheyenne. I am from Albany, NY. Ever since I was young, I have always been drawn to games and old 2D cartoons. While watching my brother play games one day, I realized that he was learning more from playing the game than from learning in school.
This got me thinking. What if I make games that are both fun to play and educational? This question is what drove me to learn more. I wanted to reach a new height in understanding my own goals and where my future might take me. After taking an interest in art, I got accepted into the University of Hartford in Connecticut. While in school, I began studying everything I could to get closer to the game industry. This includes anything to do with design and illustration.
Then when I thought that those subjects were the closest that I could get, I ran into Animation. Animation opened up an entirely new field of learning for me. Igniting a new passion and drive in me as I felt a step closer to my goal. I am still striving for my goal with this spark of inspiration today, which is how I ended up taking classes online at the Academy of Art University!

I graduated from the University of Hartford with a double major in Illustration and Graphic Design. I wanted to gear both my degrees toward designing covers and user interfaces for the gaming industry. While in school, I then found 3D Animation and fell in love with it. Still wanting to go into games, I decided to minor in Animation!

I am currently finishing my MFA Degree in 3D Animation & Visual effects. While also focusing on Texturing & Lighting for Look development. I chose to both of these degrees after finding my animation passion in undergrad, and now they are both areas of the entertainment industry that I love.
